Heather Nauert
Heather Ann Nauert, born on January 27, 1970 is an American journalist for the broadcast media who was previously an official in the federal government. She was the Spokesperson for United States Department of State during the Donald Trump administration (2017 to 2019). She is a senior fellow in the Hudson Institute, which is a conservative think-tank.
Before her post at the Department of State she was a Fox News correspondent and news presenter. From March to October of 2018, Nauert served as acting Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy, Public Affairs and Diplomacy under the Trump administration. In 2019, Trump appointed Nauert to the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board as well as the President's Commission on White House Fellowships.
